Position Summary
Help guests build skills, confidence, and a lasting connection to skiing or snowboarding through encouraging instruction.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Teach private or group ski and/or snowboard lessons within assigned discipline and ability level.
- Assess students, select terrain, explain skills, and provide positive feedback.
- Manage safety, attendance, equipment checks, lift use, and transitions.
- Create an inclusive learning environment and communicate with parents or guardians.
- Maintain terrain, conditions, program, and emergency-procedure knowledge.
- Participate in training and professional development.
- Work safely and follow resort procedures, department standards, and applicable regulations.
- Communicate clearly with teammates and leaders, and support other departments when resort operations require it.
- Provide friendly, solutions-focused service to guests and coworkers.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and promptly report hazards, equipment concerns, or guest issues.

What You Bring
- Strong skiing and/or snowboarding ability for the assigned discipline.
- Patient communication and enjoyment working with learners.
- Ability to manage groups and make sound safety decisions.
- Teaching, coaching, childcare, or service experience preferred.
- PSIA-AASI certification valued; required training must be completed.
Work Environment & Schedule
Outdoor winter instruction with movement, guest assistance, weekends, holidays, and changing weather.
