Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort Lodging is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Housekeepers to help provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Clean guest lodging units, resort facilities, and common areas according to Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort standards.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, sanitize, polish, and perform general housekeeping duties.
- Inspect rooms and accommodations to ensure cleanliness, quality, and readiness for arriving guests.
- Restock linens, towels, toiletries, and other guest amenities as needed.
- Report maintenance concerns, damage, safety hazards, or missing items promptly to a supervisor.
- Respond to guest requests professionally, courteously, and in a timely manner.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, equipment, and supply inventories.
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures.
- Assist with seasonal outdoor tasks, including light snow removal, salting walkways, and maintaining entrances during winter weather.
- Work cooperatively with other departments to help deliver an exceptional guest experience.
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, vacation rental, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Friendly, dependable, and guest-service oriented.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining high quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to frequently bend, kneel, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
