
Food & Beverage Team Member
Big Powderhorn Mountain is seeking energetic, dependable, and guest-focused individuals to join our Food & Beverage team for the winter season. Whether preparing meals in the kitchen, serving guests at the bar, or supporting daily restaurant operations, every team member plays an important role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to guests in all Food & Beverage operations.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages while maintaining Big Powderhorn’s quality standards.
- Prepare workstations, stock supplies, and maintain organized service and kitchen areas.
- Follow standard recipes, food preparation procedures, and beverage service guidelines.
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and organized work areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Process guest orders and payments accurately while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and replenishing food, beverages, and supplies.
- Follow all departmental opening, closing, and cleaning procedures.
- Work cooperatively with kitchen, bar, and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient service.
- Assist with general resort operations, including light base area snow removal and salting when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations.

Qualifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age for most positions. Some positions, including bartending, require applicants to be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required for all positions.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and other peak operating periods.

Work Environment
Food & Beverage Team Members work in a fast-paced restaurant environment that may include kitchen, dining room, bar, and outdoor service areas. The position requires standing for extended periods, frequent walking, lifting, bending, and the ability to maintain a positive attitude during busy service periods.
